Notes:

1. The organ is very reliable and pleasant sounding with approximately 1100 pipes and electro-pneumatic action.

2. This imposing Gothic church adds much to the skyline of western St. John’s. It also demands of the organist to walk up a zillion steps before he/she can start to play.

3. The church was built in 1872 to serve the growing population in the then suburban Riverhead area of St. John’s west, long before the railway and dockyard moved in and the river was realigned.
